+I made no connection with any of my professors this semester, so when I needed to get a recommendation from someone I decided to ask my management TA. I met with him outside of his office hours because I was short on time, and I felt super uncomfortable for some reason. He usually wears button ups, but I barely recognized him when he came dressed in a white crew neck, jeans, and a bright red Nationals cap. His shirt was so tight I could see the outline of his nipples. He quickly filled out my recommendation form and tried to make small talk with me afterwards. I honestly don’t know if he was just acting friendly because he was my TA or if he was genuinely interested in being my friend or something. He kept grinning at me and looking me directly in the eyes and I didn’t know how to respond because I don’t understand basic social protocol and just wanted to run out of the SOM department as soon as possible.
I’m debating if I should keep in contact with him. Maybe we can be friends.
Why am I thinking so much about this.
